Story Therapy: Learn How To Get Out of a Writing Rut

Have you hit a wall in your writing? Are you unsure about which direction to take your character or plot? Join Hollywood producer, writer Jordanna Fraiberg for a “story therapy session.”

Using practical tools, techniques and exercises, you’ll unlock the themes and characters that drive your stories. You’ll explore ways to identify your protagonist’s internal dilemma, and how to use this process to build out and make meaning of your plot. You’ll consider how your plot choices demonstrate and challenge your protagonist, how your choices lead to your protagonist’s subsequent transformation, and how this transformation impacts your protagonist’s relationship with their dilemma.

This workshop combines a lecture and discussion and stream of consciousness prompts to help you connect with your character and lead you to a deeper understanding of your story.
